About Us
Obscurity opened its Doors October 1st, 2020 Bringing all things Weird and Wonderful to the heart of Saint John, we're located at 88 Germain street just two doors down from our Sister Shop, Heartbreak Boutique.
We work with over one hundred small makers and shakers (both local and world wide) to offer gifts for everyone (or yourself!) We work hard to offer a wide variety of items for those hard to shop for people in your life and hope you leave you with a sense of magic with your purchases/in store experience.
Obscurity came to be in the midst of the Pandemic on a whim and dream. Once we knew the space was available we jumped at the opportunity to build something special in the Historic Masonic Temple. Lots of dust and ghostly encounters brought us an adventure of a lifetime and we're so thrilled to have you along for the ride.
Obscurity is Owned and Operated by Mishelle and Pam - a night owl and an early riser. We like to joke that between the two of us, we're a 24 Hour Operation. Often you'll find us showing up to work in matching outfits and singing along to the music we play in the shop. We love what we do, and hope you feel it too!
